It’s been five months since East Bay POS was acquired by NCR Corporation, the manufacturer of the Aloha software suite and Radiant hardware; and we wanted to share what’s new with our company. The entity formerly known as East Bay POS is now an NCR local office serving the needs of the restaurant community in Northern California.
We will continue to have local sales, support and implementation teams focused on Northern California that deeply understand the Aloha solution and our customers. This is now augmented by our ability to leverage all of NCR’s resources, including our new direct relationship with the Aloha development and manufacturing teams.
Now that we are officially a part of the Hospitality Division within NCR corporation, what can you expect?
• Additional support resources. We realize that it’s critical for us to be there for you when you need us the most. Next month, we are introducing a new Live Help Desk with additional resources to ensure your needs are met quickly. Since we realize our customers on support contracts are more satisfied and get the most value from their POS system, we will be implementing bundled contract options with helpdesk and software maintenance combined, hardware maintenance with four different service levels to fit your needs and budget. Both contracts offer monthly billing options with no additional finance charges.
• Continued commitment to world-class restaurant solutions. We will be bringing new Aloha innovations to the market that enable you to attract, retain, and serve customers, including mobile and iPad POS, mobile payment, and integrated marketing solutions.
• More investment in our community. We will continue to be actively involved within our local restaurant community and are planning upcoming educational webinars and regional events.
Most importantly…expect to see the same people who manage your account and service your account on a day-to-day basis.
